Preserving Your Family History

Would you like to contribute Bible records, funeral programs, obituaries, photos, yearbooks, historical documents and/or family histories to our collections?

Here’s what you need to know to get started on preserving your family’s history at the Clarendon County Archives and History Center. You can visit us to donate materials. The staff will scan your documents into our digital archives, copy them and bind them for shelf storage. We can return the original items to you if you wish to retain them yourself. 

We welcome photos of ancestors from Clarendon County, SC. Photos must be identified or know which family they belong to.  Every ancestor's photo has a home at the Clarendon County Archives and History Center.
